It is ok to ask for advice, and vital for your career to learn from the experience of others. 

Every Monday afternoon at 4 pm Leipzig time, I offer a 1:1 mentoring session to a junior researcher via video chat (Zoom or Google Meet). These sessions typically take 45 minutes, and can cover a wide range of topics. They are free, informal and confidential.

Maybe you need feedback while preparing a conference presentation, practice your job-talk, or ask a question about statistical shape analysis. You are not sure how to pitch a project idea for a grant, communicate your research to a broader audience, or build up your lab, and need someone to bounce off ideas? Want to discuss data visualisation, your rebuttal letter, human evolution, where to go next with your career, coffee, or typography? I will listen, and I have lots of opinions!
